The Syrian Passport Found at the Paris Attacks #Paris #parisattacks

I grabbed this image from the Syrilution Creative Arts

The picture ridicules the imperishable Syrian passport found near the body of one of the Paris suicide bombers at the Stade de France. Other similar cartoons raise the question of how a suicide bomber could even think to bring his passport with him. The thinking is that the presence of the passport was deliberate.

A man using the passport had arrived in Greece before travelling on to Serbia, Croatia, then France. The discovery of the Syrian passport fed the fear that ISIL terrorists have infiltrated Europe along with the refugees. The passport has since been discovered to be fake, and another man using a second passport with the same details as the attacker's passport was discovered in Serbia.

(The following paragraph added 11/21/15The Syrian passport found near the bomber at the Stade de France said it belonged to Ahmad al-Mohammad, 25, and the Greek government confirmed someone by that name came to Greece in October before crossing into Serbia. But there have been concerns it was fake, and the Independent reported French officials said it may have been “planted” by the Islamic State group, which claimed responsibility for the attacks, to take advantage of the refugee crisis.

The damage to Syrian refugees has been done however. Now Syrians have become suspect and are no longer welcome in many places. The Syrian people are, as the saying goes, caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. ISIL was/is against the exodus of the Syrian people. I suppose it would mean less man power for them, plus they like to portray their world as a utopia and it goes against their propaganda to have people fleeing from them.

I'm sorry, Syrian people. ISIL stole your people's revolution in 2011 and now they don't want you to escape the hell they've helped create.
